The city is buzzing in April with a variety of exciting events
As April unfolds, a significant event awaits: the 4th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Chinese Theatre Cultural Festival (Apr 5th-6th and 11th-14th) presents audiences a range of cultural dramatic performances originating from places across China. Later in the month, the 12th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE) (Apr 26th-28th), organised by the Macao Government Tourism Office, will showcase the latest tourism-sector trends regionally and internationally, as well as offering holiday ideas and package deals for consumers.
Visitors can experience the rich traditional Chinese culture, Macao-style, through the annual Feast of Pak Tai (Apr 10th-13th). Additionally, the ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2024 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group (Apr 15th-21st) features some of the best international table tennis players from across the globe to compete in Macao.
Musical offerings this month include two performances by the Macao Orchestra: Melco Resorts & Entertainment presents "Violin Prodigy Christian Li" (Apr 13th), featuring the rising violin star; and "Tribute to Rachmaninoff" (Apr 27th), with Hungarian conductor Gábor Káli and French pianist Marie-Ange Nguci. As a "City of Performing Arts", Macao offers a dazzling array of concerts for fans of many genres, ranging from the Chinese popular music of Aaron Kwok AMAZING DREAM Live in Macau 2024 (Apr 1st, 6th and 7th) and LOUIS CHEUNG Live in Macau 2024 (Apr 13th) to Korean bands LUCY 1st WORLD TOUR written by FLOWER in MACAU (Apr 6th) and 2024 CNBLUE Live 'CNBLUENTITY' In Macau (Apr 13th-14th).

The Procession of Our Lady of Fátima (May 13th) unfolds as a testament to the city's 'East-meets-West' cultural legacy. Adding a brushstroke of artistic flair, the 34th Macao Arts Festival (May 3rd – Jun 7th), themed "Wondrous Encounters", promises a kaleidoscope of cultural performances by local and international artists.
For those attuned to the rhythm of rock, May brings the WU BAI AND CHINA BLUE ROCK STAR 2024 World Tour in Macau (May 11th-12th). The sporting arena heats up with the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League Macao 2024 (May 28th – Jun 2nd), setting the stage for an electrifying week of passion for women's volleyball enthusiasts.
In May, Macao will be extending an all-round welcome promising cultural riches and vibrant festivities.
