The 32nd Macao International Music Festival offers 16 programmes across a total of 22 performances, under the theme “Enjoy – The Moment in Music”. The Grand Opening offers L'Elisir d'Amore, an Opera in Two Acts by 19th century Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti, in a production by Zurich Opera House featuring tenor Arturo Chacón-Cruz and soprano Laura Giordano. The performance lasts for two hours and 45 minutes, including one interval, and will include surtitles in Chinese, English and Portuguese. The Local Musicians Concert Series – also part of the festival – makes its debut with Bravo Macao!, which brings together percussionists Hoi Lei Lei and Raymond Vong. The show lasts for 90 minutes, with one interval.
