Let's Celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Dog

The Cultural Affairs Bureau is celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Dog via a rich programme of cultural events featuring performances, exhibitions, workshops and more. Several activities delve into the cultural and mythological traditions of the festivity, to offer participants a better grasp of their meaning. Part of the programme is designed to appeal to families, including young children.



Programme:

Workshops

Plasticine Modelling Workshop
Time: Feb 10th-11th: 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Venue: Macao Tea Culture House

Couplets Workshop
Time: Feb 4th: 12:00pm to 1:00pm (parent-child session), 3:30pm to 4:30pm (adults) – Macao Museum of Art; Feb 10th-11th and Feb 15th: 2:00pm to 5:30pm – Mandarin's House; Feb 13th-21th: 2:00pm to 5:00pm – Jao Tsung-I Academy

Pinwheel Production Workshop
Time: Feb 10th-11th and Feb 16th-18th: 10:30am to 12:00pm; 3:00pm to 4:30pm
Venue: Former Chong Sai Pharmacy

Red Pocket Painting Workshop
Time: Feb 16th-18th: 3:00pm to 5:00pm
