Crayon Shin-Chan is one of the most popular Japanese manga series characters of all time, created by Yoshito Usui. Japan’s TV Asahi aired “Crayon Shin-Chan” for the first time in 1992. The series centres on the adventures of five-year-old kindergarten student Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara, his parents, baby sister, dog, neighbours and friends living in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture. The series has been dubbed into about 30 foreign languages and is popular in many countries, especially those in East Asia.
