Le Songe (3-4/11, 8:00pm, Grand Auditorium, Macao Cultural Centre, MOP150-300, best for those aged 6 or above) - a ravishing adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, conceived and directed by choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot of the Monte-Carlo Ballet and described as mischievous, immodest and frolicsome - features Mendelssohn’s clarity and grace, Daniel Teruggi’s sensual passion and Bertrand Maillot’s comic escape. A Pre-performance Talk (3/11, 7:00pm, Conference Room, Macao Cultural Centre, free admission, register by telephone, conducted in Cantonese) immerses participants in the intricacies of this vibrant performance.
