April is a time for community events offering cleansing blessings. The Myanmar Overseas Chinese Water Festival (Apr 26th-28th) makes its joyful splash during the month. The city's blend of cultures is illustrated also by the traditional Chinese Feast of Pak Tai (Apr 7th) followed by the the Italian Renaissance Drawings from the British Museum (Apr 12th - Jun 30th), Procession of the Senhor Morto (Apr 19th) during the Easter season, and the A-Ma Festival (Apr 27th), dedicated to Macao's most popular folk deity. Later this month the city welcomes tourism industry professionals from around the world to the 7th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (Apr 26th-28th). From the end of the month, head to Tap Siac Craft Market (Apr 26th-28th, May 3rd-5th) for cultural artefacts, creative products, handicraft workshops and stage performances.
