Summer's just around the corner, with May another heavy-hitting month for Macao! Cheer local and foreign rowers at the pulse-raising 2017 Macao International Dragon Boat Races or chill out at Hac Sa Beach with HUSH!! Full Music and recreational activities to celebrate the first of May break. Enjoy traditional rituals such as the Feast of the Drunken Dragon, Tam Kong Festival and the Procession of Our Lady of Fátima, while the 28th Macao Arts Festival presents an inimitable mix of theatre, dance, music and visual arts in a potpourri of artistic events that move from the concert hall to World Heritage site to the street.

Plenty of great stuff in store with International Museum Day, Macao Library Week and Le French May, while cinemagoers can watch a diversified choice of movies at the newly-opened Cinematheque・Passion. Fancy a relaxing afternoon on the lake? Then head for Anim'Arte NAM VAN - plus its thematic photo corner displaying artworks by local artists, or put your best foot forward in one of the city's eight walking tour routes themed 'Step Out, Experience Macao's Communities'.

Families can enjoy the breezy outdoors while grass-skiing on Taipa Grand Hill, exploring Hac Sa Reservoir Natural Park - and even meeting the Giant Pandas and Red Pandas in Coloane. Enjoy local snacks and live performances in Hong Kung Night Market or get along to a concert at The Venetian Macao, Studio City or The Parisian Macao.
