July is a heavyweight month in all cultural disciplines. One of the highlights is the Ballet "Hansel and Gretel" (Jul 13th-15th), staged by the prestigious Scottish Ballet at the Macao Cultural Centre. The Cultural Centre is really a place to be in July, as its "ARTmusing Summer 2018" programme is in full swing throughout the month, with lots of shows, workshops and more. Meanwhile, the Feast of Na Tcha (Jul 1st) continues what is one of Macao's most distinctive cultural traditions, featuring several religious rituals and folk activities dedicated to Na Tcha, often considered the patron deity of children. Closer to the end of the month, the city becomes a huge dance floor, with Macao welcoming the International Youth Dance Festival 2018 (Jul 20th-26th).
