  • July has a rich and wide range of cultural and entertainment offerings. The Macao Cultural Centre is really a place to be this month, as its ARTmusing Summer 2018 programme is in full swing, with several shows for children, including the ballet "Hansel and Gretel" (Jul 13th-15th), staged by the prestigious Scottish Ballet, and the Irish-Danish piece "The Way Back Home" (Jul 19th-22nd).
The Feast of Na Tcha (Jun 29th-Jul 1st) continues what is one of Macao's most distinctive cultural traditions, featuring several religious rituals and folk activities dedicated to Na Tcha, which is often considered to be the patron deity of children. Closer to the end of the month, the city becomes a huge dance floor, with Macao welcoming the International Youth Dance Festival 2018 (Jul 21st-26th).
