All Around the City
Everybody was Kung Fu fighting . . . Well, not exactly - but Macao's nod to the martial arts this month has generated lots of interest! The inaugural Wushu Masters Challenge promises an unrivalled spectacle with demonstrations and competitions featuring experts from around the world, while the 5th Macau International Wushu Festival comes after. Meanwhile, why not book the kids into the all-new Kung Fu Panda Academy – and check out the restaurants in town offering special Wushu-themed dishes! Living Dinosaurs is the first special exhibition themed around dinosaurs by the Macao Science Centre (Catch the Starry Night Series shocker UFO decrypted, too). Chibi Maruko Chan Animation 25th Anniversary Exhibition - Tour in Macau, DreamWorks Experience, SHREK The Musical and the Planet J adventure are tailor-made for the kids! And lots of traditional events including the Feast of Hong Kung featuring traditional Cantonese Opera and the Senior Citizens' Big Bowl Feasting, while the Feast of Maidens activities feature a moon worship ceremony, orchid exhibition and much more. Macao is bursting with galleries and exhibitions – check out Alberque SCM, Macao Museum of Art, Ox Warehouse, and 10 Fantasia among others – and guess what? It's never been easier to know What's On and how and when to get there.
